Jennifer Gesie has been a longtime part of our St. Mark family since 2013, when she joined us as a member of our site support staff.
She joined our admin team in 2021 as a Program Coordinator, works most closely with our Dubuque afterschool teams, and assists with attendance tracking, snacks, and supplies.
Jennifer has a longtime passion for working with kids and has been in the childcare field since she was 12. She’s served as a camp counselor on multiple occasions and worked with various childcare & youth facilities (including the YMCA in LaCrosse, the Boys and Girls Club of La Cross, and a daycare center in Dubuque).
She also uses her training in Conscious Discipline for Infants and Toddlers to help young people in our programs manage their emotions and reduce aggressive acts to create an environment of love, safety, and belonging for our kids.
Outside of work, Jennifer enjoys concerts, dancing, being a mom, exploring nature, and taking in the great outdoors.
