Jennifer Gesie has been a longtime part of our St. Mark family since 2013, when she joined us as a member of our site support staff. She joined our admin team in 2021 as a Program Coordinator for our Dubuque After School Program, and is now a part of our Early Childhood team as the 2 year old Lead Classroom Coordinator.
Jennifer has a longtime passion for working with kids and has been in the childcare field since she was 12. She has served as a camp counselor on multiple occasions and worked with various childcare & youth facilities (including the YMCA, the Boys and Girls Club, and a Daycare Center in La Crosse, WI).
She also uses her training in Conscious Discipline for Infants and Toddlers to help young people in our programs manage their emotions and reduce aggressive acts to create an environment of love, safety, and belonging for our kids.
Outside of work, Jennifer enjoys concerts, dancing, being a mom, exploring nature, and taking in the great outdoors.
