Melanie started her career at St. Mark in 2013. Her roles at St. Mark have been program/ education coordinator, and currently, she is our volunteer and onboarding coordinator.
Melanie has 42 years of experience in the education field. She directed a NAEYC-accredited preschool in Houston, Texas, and worked at the Area Education Agency in Fairfield, Iowa. Before coming to St. Mark, she directed the Parents as Teachers program in Manchester, IA.
Outside of work Melanie enjoys spending time with her grandchildren and extended family, volunteering at church, and RV and motorcycle adventures with her husband. She enjoys being in nature and loves spending time with the dogs she cares for through Rover.com.
