All St. Mark Youth Enrichment volunteers are equally essential to our students’ success. Making a difference can be easily achieved while working with each volunteer's schedule and interests.
Volunteers bring an activity or lesson to our students, enhancing a typical day at program. This opportunity is ideal for groups, clubs, or businesses passionate about engaging students their field of interest. Afterschool Program Assistance
St. Mark Youth Enrichment believes every child deserves an opportunity to succeed. Whether providing academic help, enrichment programs, or supporting activities, our volunteers play a vital role in building connections and opportunities.
Volunteers work with Pre K - 5th-grade students in the Dubuque and Western Dubuque communities at one of our 3 participating sites: Boys & Girls Club of Greater Dubuque (serving Audubon, Lincoln, Marshall), Dyersville, or Peosta Elementary Schools.
Consistency is key to positive connections therefore volunteers are asked to commit at least one hour per week. Volunteer opportunities are available during our summer camps in Dubuque and Dyersville, or during special events throughout the year.
Volunteer for Events or Community Support Programs
St. Mark Youth Enrichment stays committed to all area families through community support programs such as Apples for Students and Sponsor Angels. We also host various events such as Ice Golf and Legacy of Learning, to raise funds to provide environments of love, safety, and belonging for area kids.
