Ashley Hinzmann joined the St. Mark team as office coordinator in 2023 with plans to transition into our future Early Childhood team.

Ashley considers herself a lifelong learner and continually looks for ways to learn and grow, both personally and professionally. Most recently, Ashley was a kindergarten teacher at Prescott Elementary, where she taught for 5 years and was a paraprofessional for 2 years.

She shared, “Through my time there, I developed a deep passion to serve students and families who may need the extra love and support—Rita Pearson coined, ‘every child deserves a champion,’ and I truly believe that!”

Outside of work Ashley enjoys going to concerts (especially of her favorite band the Goo Goo Dolls), doing anything outdoors, listening to podcasts, and attending fitness classes.

Ashley has also worked at various childcare centers throughout the area.

Education/Certifications
BA in Early Childhood Education and a minor in Early Childhood Special Education from the University of Northern Iowa

Master of Arts in Teaching from Morningside University with a Special Education endorsement of K-8 Instructional Strategist I: Mild/Moderate
