Jennifer Gesie has been a longtime part of our St. Mark family since 2013, when she joined us as a member of our site support staff. She then joined our admin team in 2021, as a Program Coordinator where she worked most closely with our Dubuque after school and Summer teams, and assisted with attendance tracking, snacks, and supplies. She then transitioned into Early Childhood where she took on the role of Lead Classroom Coordinator and is now a part of our Development and Operations team.

Jennifer has a longtime passion for working with kids and has been in the childcare field since she was 12. She’s served as a camp counselor on multiple occasions and worked with various childcare & youth facilities (including the YMCA, Boys and Girls Club, as well as, a daycare center in La Crosse).

She also uses her training in Conscious Discipline for Infants and Toddlers to help young people in our programs manage their emotions and reduce aggressive acts to create an environment of love, safety, and belonging for our kids.

Outside of work, Jennifer enjoys attending concerts, dancing, being a mom, exploring nature, and taking in the great outdoors.
